Do love stories ever die?
Can modern day gadgets like mobile phones and the internet bring you the love of real life?
You haven’t met her/him earlier, but commit to marry. Will you still call this a love marriage?
Not all love stories are meant to have a perfect ending. Some stay incomplete. Yet they are beautiful in their own way.
Ravins love story is one such innocent and beautiful story.
THIS IS HOW THE STORY GOES...
The story began with REUNION of four friends after three years.
They were about to have a great time. After all these years working with an MNC's they had to share a lot of things and to live the college life again..... how they met and become the best buddies... But this time they discussed one more thing which was important at that stage of life. So what else it could be but the Girls & the Marriage!!!!
So one night, these guys after a few conversations landed up on Shaadi.com, and talked all the pros n cons of it over the night.
REUNION happened & they departed.
The story moves on to the main theme where Ravin creates a shaadi.com profile to find a suitable Punjabi match for him. But even after spending quite a time, everything goes into vain until one day he receives a call from Khushi, who shares a lot in common with Ravin.
They talked over the phone and text each other,
And just then something happened, something weird & illogical,
Yeah they fell in love for real with each other for the first time in their life,
And am telling you it feels awesome; actually he wrote so :)...
And soon they become Shona n ShoniMoni for each other in their own world apart from the world where they were Ravin n Khushi.
The best part of the story is that both Ravin and Khushi are madly in love and that too even without having seeing each other physically for once. Both the families approve of their marriage without any retaliation.
Well they met for first time after their falling in love, at Delhi airport. And then he narrated how he had "the best hour of his life" and how he spent his next day with his wud be in-laws family... After spending a day n half with his Khushi and her family, he fly to New York for an On-site project. He returned back after one & half month, and story keep moving and so do their love story...
The story takes a U-turn, just before the engagement of Ravin and Khushi when Khushi meets up with an accident.
The post-situation and narration, the scene of hospital and both the families; scene at Ravin’s office, etc are heart touching.
The end evolves to be painful and I was actually glued up to know more and more as each page passes.
One could easily cry their heart out after reading.
There were two lines in starting of this novel-
"Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love. Some are born, just to experience the abbreviation of it."
But there is this saying in the novel's review section as well-
"They say, don't cry because it's over but instead smile because it had happened."
Ravinder says that his book is a narration of what happened to him in his life. He regrets deeply that his was not “the fate to cherish the fullest form of love”. His tribute to the girl he loved will touch many a heart.
Final Review – One of the best novels that I read till date. A must read for sure.
